Indeed, why hasn't TSD sent Aiba to the US? Of course, they'd probably send him to San Diego rather than to Indiana or Texas.

Aiba's hair owns this performance.

It does seem to have a starring role -- at least in your version... But it does contrast quite nicely with the stiff plastic.

Almost done with drafts! I saved four for work tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, they are all on the Henry James story, and if these drafts are like the little homeworks I read on the plane last week, I will have to spend as much time correcting misunderstandings of the story as I do making suggestions about their arguments. Meh.

I marked drafts for six hours straight this afternoon -- my hand is just now unmolding itself from pencil-shape. This was my punishment for watching six eps of HanaDan Returns yesterday evening (M and the Ls are out of town, so no House and SP, and just me on my own). God, the angst! The rain! The self-deceptions!

For some reason it's making me want to watch Full Metal Panic! Maybe the connection is the hilariously dysfunctional couple -- but Sousuke and Kaname have the ability to vent their rage via mechas. Imagine Tsukushi (or Jan Di) with a mecha...
