I'M GOING TO TRY TO BE BRIEF WITH THIS. I know, not my strength, but whateva - just you watch me.
In order now:

You make a good point - I don't have any triggers or squicks that I know of so I don't really notice the lack of warnings for fics that could otherwise use them. I guess when taken relatively mine wasn't as bad as it could've been and some other entries have been (much as I enjoyed them for that element of surprise); it just occurred to me that I might've made a pretty big gaffe, so of course my perspective went to a paranoid and irrational place. >.> And I think you're right - the concern cropped up right after the warnings issue was broached in challenge 8, because normally I probably would've remained completely oblivious. So, yeah. :D
Thx my dear, I'm glad I'm back too. ^^

About the darkfic challenge, I think it was a lot more limiting. You had to come up with an original way to make the same impact as everyone else, whereas other challenges let you make any impact you wanted, just with a similar device or prompt. So this time we all went in expecting it, desensitized, and surrounded by it. Yah.
Regarding yours from last challenge, I didn't quite read it as dubcon. I could see where you'd think it, but it didn't strike me that way. Probably because you didn't write any of Arthur's ( ... )

They were asked for, and I totes get that. But it was weird seeing warnings on some stuff that I wouldn't have thought twice about, after things from other challenges. That's what I meant. And yeah, maybe we should have considered that some triggery stuff could happen and put up some sort of... idk, general warning. As it is, I just hope anyone who'd suffered for the lack of warnings would have mentioned it to us. :s

Agreed. And yeah, there were warnings for things that had appeared in previous challenges. I guess everyone just figured 'better safe than sorry'. Hell, my own warning was probably partially superfluous.

Re: your entry: well, first off, guh, that was hot. I loved it. Genderbender does nothing for me, and that's the only entry where one of them was actually a woman I thought was hot, so yeah. :D I did read it as consensual, but yeah, I'd warn for the fact that people who get triggered by dubcon my find this triggery, even if it isn't (... which might possibly be the most convoluted warning ever, ahaha). I wouldn't worry about not warning inside the challenge - I think we all assume things to be a bit kinkier on there, anyway, and it's not technically even dubcon, so. I actually posted an entry and forgot to warn for non-con, in one of the challenges. It was only implied, so hopefully not triggery, but still. I only realised four days after it went up that in my haste to post it before the deadline, I'd forgotten to add the warning. Believe me when I say I majorly facepalmed. D:Oh, God, challenge 8! I ( ... )
