Yay! Glad the pacing was going good for ya there, and sorry to throw in the cliffhanger, even if I do so enjoy them, haha. It wasn't originally intentional, I assure you. (Meaning original intention was to, you know, finish it for the competition. Just one of those little things.)

Anyway, I'll try to get the rest up here soon and hope you like it as well!

The mission started out normally enough - which should have been her first sign that things would take a turn for the absurd. <- Yeah no kidding! >.<

Sai finally piped in. "If it still makes you uncomfortable, dickless, just drop your pants in front of her. Once she see's what you have to offer she'll leave you alone." <- I love Sai. I really, really do. *loves on*

I love that Lady Hisoka is a pain in the ass and flirting with Sai. That's just awesome! *lol*

Oh, Kakashi's training ideas. *snickers*

No matter what the place, she'd prefer to wake up a prisoner or hostage or whatever than to not wake up at all. <- *flinch* I hope these aren't "famous last words". >.< It would suck to wake up and be tortured, after all.

Can I just say how much I really do love Sai? He's such a perfect foil, and just so much FUN! How can you not love him? I'm so happy when I come across someone else who shares the joy ^_-

I'm also currently amusing myself with how well I'm sure sure it'd go over if part 2 started with: 'And everyone woke up but Sakura, who was dead.' I think I'd have a lynch mob on my hands if that happened. (Not that I haven't killed her off before... but still. You can only go that particular detour once.) As for the other implications, well, we'll just have to wait and see.

I was hoping to wait until results were posted for the contest, so as to not compromise voting, but I think I'm giving up soon, lol. I needs to finish me a story!

I loved this more than I can say. Your characterizations were spot on, the writing style was ridiculously splendid, and the plot and pacing were so very engaging. I honestly can't wait for the next installment. Thank you for an amazing read!

Aw, well thank you so much! It heartens me to hear you enjoyed this part so much (especially as I thought it was both rushed and verbose, if that's possible). Makes me more excited to finish it up!

I'd initially been trying to wait until voting was done, but I think I may just give up pretty soon here, lol.

And yeah... it seems like it's taking awhile for the results. I'm new to the community though, so I have nothing to compare it with.
