I just signed up to write for spn_j2_bigbang. Now I sit here clutching my head going omg omg I am insane, trying to remember how plot works.

Things I have been thinking about lately: gravity. Specifically, sex scenes in which it doesn't exist. You know the kind of thing, where A is touching B there and there and kissing him here at the same time, while ( Read more... )

Many of these things are good (although I would say watch JP1 for the actiony movieness, JP3 for the slashiness, and skip JP2), but I gotta go with Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang for the sheer wonderfulness of it. *g*

Although now that you have seen all of Peacemakers, you can now dive wade dip your toe into the stories and see if they work any more. *g*

I've never seen JP2, I thought perhaps I'd be a completionist this time, but maybe not, then. *g* Although I do like big monsters with big teef. So far it looks like I might be starting with KKBB though. :)

As for Peacemakers, I did things the other way around: read stuff for yuletide, got all interested, and made plaintive noises until I could watch the show. I do still like the stories a lot after I've seen the episodes, which is very reassuring. *g*

Yay!! I signed up too, and am doing the same insane insane mantra. But it will be, you know, fun and stuff! Maybe. If it doesn't kill me *g*.

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues, and good luck with the surgery tomorrow. I'll be sending good thoughts. *hugs*

Oh good, I will make you hold one of my hands and Merry can hold the other (and then I won't be able to write). I do have some plot ideas; I should maybe pick one. *g* Have you started to think about what you're going to do, or are you just jumping into it and hoping for the best?

Surgery's not till next week, but tomorrow is my day of holding down the fort while the rest of the department is gone, so I could probably use some good thoughts then, too...

I have a vague idea, in the "hm, this could work, er, maybe" way *g*. topaz119 and I have been eek!ing about it, because I've never written 20k words for one story before, and it feels a little daunting. Which is why I wanted to do it, but still--scary! I will probably take you up on the hand-holding *g*. (You can take breaks to write!)

I am reading-challenged *g*. I'll still send some good vibes tomorrow, then, and next week!

I decided I might actually pull off something longer with the proper incentive. Like a deadline. Left to myself, I talk myself out of even starting anything that looks like it'll grow too much. *g* And good vibes are much appreciated at any time!

I voted for Indy--it's hard to beat the combination of Henry Jones Sr and Jr in the last one.

I am freaking out about Big Bang, too. I'm trying to embrace the insanity and tell myself that working through it all will be Good For Me. (So far it's not working, but it's too late now.)

Ooh, I love the third one (although I'm definitely planning to start from the beginning). And maybe all this watching-of-stuff will give me an idea or two about the best way to wrangle a plot.

It will absolutely be good for you! Like exercise, only you get to sit down while you do it, and the pretty boys do what you tell them to. :)

All of those sound good, but since I am currently all with the Highlander love (yeah, a little late on that bus, I know) I'd say indulge in some swordfights & Methos-love :-)

Thank you, I really appreciate the good thoughts. :) And yay, Methos; I will add those eps to my list of things to watch post-surgery, when I suspect I'll be lying down on the couch over there *points* right in front of the tv, cause I only have them on tape...

I think The Persuaders is probably especially entertaining while medicated.

Good point. Yes. (And apparently I'm entertaining when I'm watching things while medicated, so that might be a great combo...)
