A meme of one's own

I totally forgot to do a Dear DWNOGA Santa Person post. I'm sorry, dear dwnoga santa person! I didn't mean to ignore you. I'd say something now, but you're probably already well into the story (at least, if you're marginally more organized than I am, you are), so just, um. carry on. as you were. yay you ( Read more... )

Is the first one from SGA Echoes?

Yay, an answer! And yes, it so totally is. I loved that line. I loved a lot of lines in Echoes; I kept going "That's my favorite! No, wait, that one!"

Shockingly enough, I'm pretty much a Sheppard/McKay shipper when it comes to SGA. But I'm very attached to most of the characters, really, such as that nice fellow in your icon. :)

Echoes was a fabulous ep--I loved it muchly.

I don't really have an OTP, really. I have a favorite character (you'd never have guessed that, I'll bet *g*) but I'm willing to pair him up with anyone, if I can work it out. If I did have an OTP, though, it would probably be Radek/Rodney--theirloveissosnarky! ;-)

However, for the sga sesa, somehow or another, I'm doing het. Oi. :-D

And, btw--you're not Merry--you're actually MJ. You guys only *thought* you had me fooled. *nods sagely*

Mm. He does match up nicely with a number of people, I think. My personal preferences are probably Elizabeth or Ronon, depending on my mood. *g* I thought that scene at the beginning of Echoes was pretty adorable.

You guys only *thought* you had me fooled.

Oh, darn. I should have known you'd spot the uncanny resemblance.

Ahaha, awesome meme idea. Number 6 is from my favorite Torchwood episode so far, Countrycide.

And 2 is from Dr. Who, isn't it?

Yes. I love seeing all the appropriate icons popping up. :) I never wanted the Doctor and Rose to get together, I just wanted them to look at each other like... well, like that. Repeatedly. And have entanglements with other people, that was fine, too.

So it is! And hey, a Gwen icon. I like it. I have mixed feelings about Torchwood, but I keep watching it; it's very much like eating potato chips, where each individual potato chip isn't quite what you want but the overall effect just has you hooked somehow. I'm completely ship-free when it comes to Torchwood, which is probably just as well, I just sit back and watch and go "Whoa." You?

#2 is the Madame de Pompador episode of Doctor Who, season 2.

Yes! One of my favorite eps. And a ship I liked, too. (In both senses of the word. *g*) I tend to have a very gen-oriented approach to DW, on the whole. Hand-holding and platonic affection is all I ask for. Although Mickey and Jake were awfully cute together.

Hmm, my first try at commenting didn't go. I'm pretty sure #7 is from Numb3rs, when Charlie was teasing Larry.

It kinda makes me wince to type "Numb3rs," but I love the show anyway. :-)

Yes! :)

It's a pain to type, in many ways, but hey. It has Megan and Larry! I kind of adore Megan and Larry. And I also adore Amita and Charlie, but more separately than together. My favorite thing about the show may possibly be the true and manly and very muscular and broad-shouldered love of David and Colby, though. I just want to pinch their (very manly) little cheeks.

I definitely adore Megan and Larry! And the pretty that is David Krumholtz.

Hee! Now that you've pointed it out, I can totally see it!

They parked in lovers lane together! Okay, so it was on the job. But still! *G* And Megan and Larry just make me so happy, the cool-under-pressure FBI agent and the eccentric but insightful academic, and she's the one with the gun. She's just so charmed by him, and so patient with him, and he's so adorably smitten and skittish, and... yeah. babble mode *off*. ;)

Yay icon! I do so love that icon. And Uncle Iroh. and of course you're right, but you knew that! I think Tales of Ba Sing Sei may be my favorite episode; I can't believe I made comments about "filler" when I started watching it.

And it's entirely possible that my favorite character is Momo. shock, horror. *g*
