yuletide is back in business! Yay!

There are some changes this year, which you can read about here and here and here before you get involved with nominations here. There's also a brainstorming post for talking about potential fandoms ( Read more... )

*g* I don't think you'd be *totally* alone on the Richard/Matt thing -- I finished reading it yesterday and, oh dear. I see what you mean :-) Also, I handed thwax a copy of the first book (which I persist in wanting to call The Devil's Doorbell even though I know it's not anymore!) at Connotations, and am awaiting developments. She too read it back when it was Devil's Doorbell, and was gleeful. I must check she notices the slash *g*

It does kind of leap out at you, doesn't it? The relationship conversations, the lengths Richard's prepared to go to for Matt, the reunion huggage... yeah. *g*

I have to say, I like Devil's Doorbell much better as a title.

Grrrr!

You mention all the fandoms and possibilities and do you realise some of us are living vicariously through your requests and receipts? Now I want all of those (I dread to think how Kit, Evelyn and Cressy relate to ERMS this afternoon)

I know - write something and I could request, but I don't have any talent in that direction. So can I just introduce a rule that if the requests don't get filled for you, you'll write them for us? :)

Given the general level of world corruption, buying Yuletide votes and stories would be a darn sight more productive than paying off politicians! Will try to exist on anticipation till January!

The thing about trying to buy yuletide votes is, it would be so chancy... even if you got someone to offer something, even if you got someone else to request it, they might not be matched up. I think you should save your pennies for more personal bribery, or maybe try a chocolate-for-all-participants C-oriented ficathon. :)

Well, Jurassic Park III has been on the list every year so far (I always secretly hope I'll get asked to write it), and I'm fairly certain there hasn't been a sudden rush of stories for it this year.

Unless there has been, and everyone on the internet is hiding them from me.

*starts to worry*

But barring that, it should still be eligible.

They could be! You know, just to be mean. But I hope not. :)

Yuletide is and has always been the best Christmas present ever.

Ivan, Ivan, Ivan!

I live in hopes of that very fic every year, even the ones where I don't request it.

Yes, I want my cake and to eat it, too.

You could write that. I'm just saying. ;)

I adore Ivan so much. I could just recycle my request from last year..
