Poptarts in Atlantis.

It would have taken me a while to get there, but okay, I can go with that as a guess. Seconded! Not that I might not come up with others. Is there a one-guess limit?

hee! Oh, guess away, I'd like to hear your ideas. :)

I guess that means #1 was wrong. That's fine; I can keep going. Hmm... how about Flight Dynamics? I need to go reread my favorites so I can try to find something that pings me, but let's start there.

Pajamas are good. The best thing about snow outside is when you're inside and in pajamas and don't have to go out and can curl up under fluffly blankets with something to read next to the open window/balcony.

Well, but if I open a window, there will be snow inside as well. and cold, and stuff. But definitely the blanket, yes. *clutches big wool blanket*

see, that's why I have a balcony. I can open the balcony doors, and then can watch the cats frolick in the snow.

(well... I can watch Izzy obsessively dig in every bit of snow, just in case there's something hidden there, and I can watch Asche carefully look outside and then freak when she realizes that the white stuff is *OMGWET!!!*)

(happy new year!)

I do actually have a vague theory about who wrote the story for me, but I'm keeping said theory, and the crushing humiliation when I find out how wrong I am, to myself.

Go on, share the guess! Go on, go on, go on!

Aw, but! Okay, okay. It feels very nopseud to me.

This is an impossible challenge! Made even more impossible by the fact that I have not read any of the SeSa stories yet, and I can't even begin to imagine what you wrote for Yuletide.

I did see one guessing post, but it was locked. That person also thought "Kicks" was by nopseud, though, so you're not alone.

You could just close your eyes and point at the sesa page, then. *g*

And I agree that yuletide is hopeless. Too many fandoms, and too many people writing book fandoms and so not even using their usual style... I've never been able to guess a single yuletide.

I've only read a handful of SeSa and Yuletide stories, so purely from a statistical point of view I'm bound to make a fool of myself. But! I'm going to go out on a limb and second the Poptarts in Atlantis guess (points at icon because it is almost appropriate!), and for Yuletide I'm going to guess Every Good Girl Does Fine, the Peanuts fic. They both seem to have yourturn of phrase, and wonderful quirkiness. So if I guessed wrong, then yay, I'll have discovered more writers I like. Not that I have the time to read... *g*

Right on the dwnoga, wrong on the yuletide, and hee, re icon: JC is a sex fiend who meets aliens!

What kind of snippet would you like?

I'm not sure I feel I deserve a snippet, since I was very much riding piggy-back on the first guess up there. *points up* OTOH, I did guess Kim G. right too, though I didn't post it anywhere, so maybe I don't entirely suck at guessing. But, if you think I deserve it and you're feeling inspired, well, I'm going to be entirely predictable and say tentacles! *bounces in chair*

Can I just say I absolutely loved Poptarts in Atlantis, as I seem to have forgotten to do so before? I love this JC, and I love the taeba, and I love the plot, and the abrasive McKay (whom I only know from fanfic) and the water and the bass named Bass and his wicked language skills and the technology with a lot of character of it's own. It was absolutely fabulous, and I love it.

Yay, thank you so much! This was deeply fun to write - of course, the sesa season is always fun, and I can't think of a sesa story I didn't enjoy writing. *g*

Tentacles, hmmm?

*ponders*
