I got annoyed at myself for writing so little fic in 2008 and decided if I couldn't bust out 1,000+ words for some of my current/former fandoms, I was a loser. So I sat down and typed these out. All of these are for my OTPs and fairly angsty and troubled and woeful. What can I say ? It's what I do best. One is semi-fluffy, though.

Edge/Rydia ... Sigh, the ship that cannot be. Or at least, so I most often see it, sadly.

(By the way, FFIV for DS = toughest videogame I have ever played. Good god.)

edge/rydia is my ffiv otp :D i don't ship it too madly, much as i love the game i never got that much into the fandom side... probably because i played it at the same time as 6 and i was just soooo in love with 6. it's still my second favourite<3

haha really? i got to the moon and met fusoya and then i put it down and haven't gone back to it yet...keep meaning to! but currently replaying 7 for the millionth time and now i'm replaying kh2 and skies of arcadia. video games are made for sick weeks<3

I love FFIV to bits, but I can't grasp the fandom, either, probably because it's so old school and smaller than say, FFVII... So all that fandom talk is so distant. And so much of the fic is either crap or super-poetically written, it's hard for me to get into or try to write. Everybody's a royalty, so I guess they would think like that but yeah, it's not easy to write or to digest when you're used to more colloquial, common language in fic.

I wish I could rehash FFVII memories, too. I wonder how much a small new TV would cost, hmm.

I'm at the final boss place in FFIV and all these rare item/final weapon bosses are fucking me up even though most of my party has already maxed out on their levels. Maybe I just suck at gaming, period.

He's still in charge of himself. But he's losing control, because nothing makes sense anymore, and branding something his doesn't make her his at all, and dragging her behind him doesn't mean she will follow.

I absolutely LOVE this. It's so very perfect.

Thanks! I wasn't too into how the drama developed but it was so good at that point, I had to write. :)
