LOVE. Ueno Juri is one of my favourite jdrama actresses now. I went in not knowing what to expect of her in a comedic role (the only other thing I've seen her in is Engine, a total 180 in terms of character) and she owned as Nodame so hard.

2 picspams at once...oh you spoil me so. I loved this drama like I love puppies, that is to say, very very much. All those pictures that you had of Chiaki with his wth face were amazing. And the whole cast was so incredibly awesome, they just pulled off their parts so well. I do have a special fondness for Eita, but I loved everybody in the cast. (Masumi's moustache...genius!) I really liked Ueno Juri as well, so I'm trying to decide if I'm going to watch Jodan Ja Nai...

Hee, yeah, Eita was awesome as Mine. He was, excuse the pun, rocking, and I loved the secondary pairing of Mine/Kiyora (and I'm still shocked they slept together! That doesn't happen often in dramas..) I definitely feel like checking out more things he's in after seeing him in NC.

I was so shocked that they slept together as well! I loved when Mine let that erm..interesting concert master join so that Kiyora could leave to go back to Vienna! *sigh of happiness* Yeah, Eita's pretty much awesome. Did you see him in Kimi wa Petto?

Hee, Stalker Boy cracked me up. He was so random and sudden and another fanboy for Chiaki and omg, so funny. Especially the scene where Chiaki unbuttons his shirt and then's all "..Wait a minute, who are are you?".

Nah, NC's actually only my 2nd jdrama - I've only watched it and Kurosagi. I haven't been avoiding them but Korean and Taiwanese has had a priority so far because I've just been more interested in them.

I so agree. Best drama EVER!! (well along side with 'Himitsu' and 'Nobuta') but clearly. It owns us.
And no one can negates the hotness of Tamaki-kun. No one.
He's a bit afraid of flying...

He... I read your review, watched the pretty pictures and thought "I should see this, and practice my japanese!" and then I tried to download the first 3 episodes... it was the anime! (which is not bad! but I wanted *people*!) The clothing and settings and even the piano!bag are the same!

Yeah, first it was a manga, then they made the live action, then like right when the live action ends, the anime starts airing. :/ When you search for the thing on youtube, it also comes up with just the anime.
