:O I thought most people watched it for Aish only! That's surprising. But I suppose it says something about her role in it - pretty, somewhat substantial but not really.

Her "Hello Mr Ethirkachi" costume aka the green one and the whole song routine makes me wonder why there's so much fuss over her D2 appearance. :D

Your liking her in this gives me great hope for her performance in Guru! ;)

Yeah, who knows, Guru might be good Aish-wise. The two movies seem to have other similarities, too, like the "based-on-real-life" thing... Then again, after UJ & D2 I don't feel too confident.

You should watch the songs of this one, despite weird costuming, Aish is very lovely in them.

I'm not an Aish fan, but I ordered it from anytamil.com a few seconds ago(I hope it's in stock), just because of the screencaps, and the fact that's her debut film. Plus, I was looking for an excuse to spend money, so, thank you :)

No problem! It's a good film, though focuses on the male leads a lot. Still, there's a lot of Aishwarya goodness there and I thought she looked lovely. I'm no fan, either, have actually been avoiding her films as I just don't enjoy her acting (or lack thereof) and mostly find her looks overrated. But her Tamil films that I've seen so far have been very good and she's done a good job actingwise in them, as well.
