Fandom is such a fucked up thing. Sometimes it's better to enjoy something on your own then realise morons out there are destroying a good thing.

Yeah, like this show Heroes I fangirl in this post and others - I occasionally write a message about it on TV.com but generally I avoid the fandom because I don't care for speculation/discussion/shipping/batshit theories. I like to hear what my friendslist thinks but I don't want to involve myself in the fandom otherwise.

Fandom is like a cookie with two sides, one covered in delicious creamy stuff or chocolatey stuff, the other covered in shit. You can try to eat the thing by just enjoying the delicious goodness but you'll still end up getting some of the shit flavor. But the delicious stuff can be soooo good and worth the bad flavor, sometimes.

Is that a bad metaphor? Probably but that's my experience. I love to obsess and be into something with other people, but other people can also be shit. It's life.

Hiya! Definitely a good episode. I'll be interested to know why Sylar works with Clare's father and why he seems to either a) have everyone's power, or b) to be able to block everyone's power. I think it's brilliant, though, that Peter can chamelion, or whatever, everyone's powers.

Hey, didn't know you watch Heroes, too. Coolness. And yes, Peter's power is more clear now and totally cool - I just wonder if he's in the same space with two "special" people, can he channel both of their powers or just one's.

I'm not even sure if Sylar is the black dude.. It's hard trying to determine who's side Claire's dad is on, too.

The Nathan-Hiro interaction was surprisingly awesome, worked so well with them being total opposites kinda.

I think Hiro with anyone is awesome but Nathan in his politician slime is used to being nice to people he doesn't necessarily like so it kind of really works out like that.

I also wonder if Nathan/Niki will be this series' OTP.

I'm not sure, there are so many ways the writers could play this. I think that they will have to deal with their issues repeatedly over the course of the show... by I kinda assumed that this show would be about the Isaac/Simone/Peter OT3.

Of course any ships will be sort of aside of the whole main plot any way, but I don't think the love triangle of those three will gain more importance. Niki/Nathan would be cute but perhaps too messed up in the fact he's married, she has a kid, they have enough to deal with. But makes for awkward bumping-into-each-other sort of moments which'll be cool.

It's hard to tell cause like... one time he'll be like "CLAIRE IS A VERY SPECIAL GIRL" so you think "hmm he might not be so bad" but then he goes around "hollowing" people out. and being creepy. and his thing when he saw Claire's tape "it breaks my heart"? what's he gonna dooooo? :(

Yeah.. And Matt seemed fine but ohh he definitely didn't remember the Sylar happenings, it would seem and then he had his thing at the store. :( So I guess he must be up to something bad, but not for Claire ...yet? God I worry.

Dude, why? Who doesn't love Hiro? Every red-blooded human being with a soft spot for geeks who're just the BEST should! Hiro's just so adorable and ace. I'm always giggling and clapping and squeeing when he comes on the screen. :D!!
