I dropped out at 63 or so - lack of L killed DN for me, but yeah, I suppose I could write fanfic for those volumes.

Glad you enjoyed it! And yeah, L's death was truly a sad event in many ways.

see yes. I have not gotten much past L dying. :( Cause.. L!!!!!! But I suppose I will finish reading. I hear the anime is awesome. I should start dling it today since I have so much SPACE on here!! I have all the manga. One day I'll finish. I need to finish the last bits of PoT I have not yet finished too and Ouran. skdjfalda

I've decided not to watch the anime at all - DN is so black-and-white in my head, it feels weird to watch the anime in full colour. I've read what happens after chapters 63 (chapter 60 was when they introduced Melo & Near, chapter 58 is where L died) but the plot seems to only get weirder and weirder and then even more weird so yeah, I'll stick to the first story arc of DN. :D

I'll buy the mangas eventually and re-read and if I get inspired, I'll write. :)

Oh man. I finally got to this and it is awesome. I really like what you've done here, with the puzzles and Near's admiration of L. So sweet and yet methodical at the same time.
