So, I finally (more or less) caught up with Gossip Girl. I still haven't watched 4.06 because I start cringing whenever Jenny is on screen. Why would they go and ruin my ability to hate Jenny Humphrey by having everyone hate on her for something they have no right to? WHY? I WANT TO HATE HER IN PEACE, MOTHERFUCKERS

I would be fine with The Perils of Penelope van der Woodsen. Every week a dumb villain like Juliet disguises themselves as someone Serena would date, and then Blair leads the moderately-efficient rescue team who saves the day. But no guitar lessons for Rufus.

How did I not know Blair has a drunk karaoke video, that is better than a sex tape. Unpopular opinion: I actually like Vanessa and Jenny, and would probably like Juliet if I knew anything about her beyond that psycho stalker web of UESers that one time. I guess I'm a bit of a counterist (spellcheck says that's not a word, but I've heard it used before, so whatevs)? I feel like Willow when she stuck up for Dawn because she had all this involuntary empathy on account of Dawn was such a spaz.

I'm tuning in tonight, though, because masquerade balls are my jam.

I FEEL V. IRRESPONSIBLE NOW. I think I should add a disclaimer about how I have to try very hard to be amused now BECAUSE THIS SHOW HATES ME.

IT WAS GLORIOUS. I would love Juliet if she were a slightly more competent villain/if Katie Cassidy had crazy eyes. Also, I'm going to steal that word (that possibly doesn't exist) from you, because it makes me feel better about my ridiculousness. Like how I sort of like Miley now that everybody thinks she's ruining the world with her lack of pants. SHE IS A DIRTY HIPSTER NOW, WHY ISN'T EVERYBODY LAUGHING?

I kind of want Vanessa to transform into a super villain under Jenny's Disney villain mentoring + Blair's brilliant scheming and sex games.

My dream Season 3 would've basically been The Weekly Misadventures of Blair, Vanessa and Georgina. YOU DON'T JUST PUT THOSE THREE UNDER THE SAME ROOF AND NOT DO SOMETHING HILARIOUS WITH IT.
