[Otacon had remained hidden during the time the war had gone on. When she emerged, she noticed the ruined halls, but was glad to see there were no injured civilians closeby. She was not a doctor in that field, but she did know the basics of first aid. Mostly because of Snake

[She slips into the cold of Shadow Moses after seeing Halie go in by chance. She misses her Otacon and their friendship and when the biting cold of Moses hits, she realizes what a boon this event was, despite the ruin it brought with it. As she walks though the halls, she realizes that you really can't have good things without bad, not in her life and not in general. She'll gladly take the bad though, if it means meeting people like Halie.]

[Snake tails the other woman to the computer lab, but it's Diana who silently takes a seat on one of the chairs to watch Otacon work.]

[Otacon jolts when she hears the sound of another presence in the room. She moves to her feet, pushing the keyboard aside and gazes at the other woman.]

Snake?

... I thought you had died! W... Where have you been all this time?

[femmesnake]

[She jolts a little and throws up her hands, not expecting this kind of intensity from the other woman.] Woah, Otacon!

I-I'm not dead, so don't worry. As for where I've been, I couldn't really say. I remember some things and don't remember others. But I have been around.

You haven't been drinking, have you?

[The last thing she needed right now was another depressed Snake who refused to better themselves. She looked pretty exhausted.]

[Her eyes flitter away.] I missed you.

[A redheaded man will just be wandering the halls of Shadow Moses, wondering how the hell he ended up back at this place after about 10 years of being away.]

[Otacon's heart skips a beat when she hears the sound of boots moving through the halls. She creeps up to her feet and gently toes open the door.]

H-Hello?

[Merrell's brow furrows at the sound of the (semi-familiar?) voice. The Rat Patrol commander is quick to unholster his gun.]

Who's there!?

[Otacon knew that voice instantly. It was the guy with the cute butt!]

[Snake jumps a mile, mentally, but regardless of catching him off guard, he's happy to see her.]

[ASDFGHJKL!] What are you doing in here? You damn-near gave me a heart attack. I never expected to see you in here on your own-

Snake? ...I didn't think you came in here, too.

[Otacon winces and adjusts her glasses, trying to configure the computer settings.]

I come by here often, actually...

[He wanders by the frosty consoles and steps over the empty waste bins.]

So this is where you hide?

[She leans back in the computer chair, gazing over at Snake.]
