[White Day was a particularly interesting holiday that was mostly celebrated in Japan. It was traditionally a time that enabled men to confess their love to women. Japan wanted to outweight the balance of Valentines, so that men had a day to confess their love, too

[Well, Sorrow doesn't really have any love to confess. He pauses outside the kitchen, though.]

...Heh. Looks like you've been working hard. What's the occasion?

[Haile peers over her shoulder towards the man, and offers him a wry little smile.]

White Day. It's like Valentines... Except you're supposed to give gifts to the person that gave you gifts on Valentines.

At least, I think that's how it works. [Scratches her head.]

[Mitya nods.]

I didn't get any Valentines this year, nor did I give any.

[He had been kind of preoccupied with fighting Nazis. He steps in, smiling.]

People celebrate that here, then?

[This man seems a little familiar. She can't put her finger on it, however, and so she doesn't speak up about it. She offered a small smile, nodding bashfully. She felt a little bad that he hadn't recieved a Valentine this year, so she picked up a little token of chocolates, handing it to him.]

Yeah, of course! Why should we stop celebrating just because we're in this Nexus? Birthdays and holidays exist just the same as we do.

Huh?

[Hey! It's Sunny! Otacon smiiiiles~]

You know what that holiday is? -- Actually, that doesn't surprise me. [Her thoughts went to Hal, and she smiled again.]

Did you get any Valentines this year?

...No. None this year.

Or ever.

Oh! But why not?

[Halie frowned a little, before a soft blush touched her cheeks.] You're a really nice person, and ... you're really pretty. Surely people can see that.

[Is staring at the wine, wondering if she should have some]

[...One little sip couldn't hurt, right~?]

[sweetacon]

[She nudges a glass and the bottle towards her.]

Go ahead! There's plenty to go around.

[elisula]

Well... alright. Thanks!

[Too bad Halie doesn't know that ELISA + ALCOHOL = NEVER A GOOD THING. She pours herself a glass and takes a sip.]

How long did all of this take you?

[If things get too bad, Halie will direct her to leave. :|]

Oh, not long. Only a couple of hours.

[She attempts to wave it off, but in reality... it had taken a total of seven hours. There were burnt batches of cup cakes hidden away in the garbage.]

[Dave scratches his head. He's at a bit of a loss with this holiday-]

[Halie peered at Snake when he entered, feeling a little nervous. She smiled steadily, waving.]

Hey Snake. Want some cookies?

[0ldsnake]

Uh...yeah, sure. Why not?

[sweetacon]

[She hands him the prepared cookies and chocolate together, handing them to Snake. She had a little hint of a grin on her face.]

Love and peace is overrated.

[grandpasnake]

[Have an old man.]

...Hhn. What's with all the fancy food...?

[He looks around.]

[Another one? ... Well, okay. She's not going to complain. She likes hanging out with Snakes.]

[Offers a white-chocolate chip cookie.]

[He doesn't recognize this woman as Otacon, but, hey, this lady is randomly giving him food. He likes food! :D

He also just assumes people know him randomly, after what he heard about this place, so he's not going to ask how she knows his name.]

[She settled down by the table, and chewed on a cookie. She swung her legs back and fourth idly.]
