I appreciate that you make the effort to remind people of their contact's birthdays, but I'd like to posit that maybe, just maybe, you don't need to remind me of my own birthday.

Sadly, I have needed that reminder on occasion. There have been more than a few years where the only reason I knew it was my birthday was because I suddenly had an inbox full of birthday greetings from Facebook and LJ.

You do have a point, but it might have worked out better if they'd done the usual thing and sent a congratulatory email, instead of pretending they were warning me about some other person.

Because I totally don't know who that fishinwhite guy is >_>
