I don't know what compelled me to fill out a in-depth personal survey the length of the Adige, but here I am. I just hope a bunch of weirdos on the internet don't read this.
I may do Seamus, since he was a very second close place. I'm guessing everyone already knows too much about Ferris. I never write fiction (if you count this) in first person so it was kind of fun/challenging.
Haha, I feel like people like Demos because he's unlike anyone we really know (or at least, unlike anyone I know). Your characters are all so real that reading this novel is like reading a story about people right out of our own lives -- I mean, I know people who are less enticing versions of Ferris, his parents, Seamus, and even Julie, and sometimes I read your work and realise how eerily like Emily I am. Don't get me wrong, I love all your characters and all of them are enthralling and original. But who's ever met a snotty-yet-charming, fruity-yet-threatening teenage mobster with inhuman charisma and marksmanship (but despite the ability to kill without batting an eye, would still be that depressed if his best friend moved away for a few years)? Not me. He instantly becomes more interesting in the stranger concept of his character, and the way you've built him up (he has like seventy dimensions ftw, and he isn't even the main focus of the novel) makes him just as much like a real person as the others, however less likely it is that
