Nov, 2002

I don't know what compelled me to fill out a in-depth personal survey the length of the Adige, but here I am. I just hope a bunch of weirdos on the internet don't read this.

What are the chances that Ferris and Seamus will also fill out the survey?

I may do Seamus, since he was a very second close place. I'm guessing everyone already knows too much about Ferris. I never write fiction (if you count this) in first person so it was kind of fun/challenging.

"I may do Seamus"

Yes please! This was awesome but it would be nice to know a bit more about Seamus too

Haha, I feel like people like Demos because he's unlike anyone we really know (or at least, unlike anyone I know). Your characters are all so real that reading this novel is like reading a story about people right out of our own lives -- I mean, I know people who are less enticing versions of Ferris, his parents, Seamus, and even Julie, and sometimes I read your work and realise how eerily like Emily I am. Don't get me wrong, I love all your characters and all of them are enthralling and original. But who's ever met a snotty-yet-charming, fruity-yet-threatening teenage mobster with inhuman charisma and marksmanship (but despite the ability to kill without batting an eye, would still be that depressed if his best friend moved away for a few years)? Not me. He instantly becomes more interesting in the stranger concept of his character, and the way you've built him up (he has like seventy dimensions ftw, and he isn't even the main focus of the novel) makes him just as much like a real person as the others, however less likely it is that ( ... )

Uh, in case you actually wanted to know. :/
Sorry, that was longer than I realised.

This was wonderful to wake up to. I love these characters so much and Demos has always been my favorite since I saw his pictures on DA. (:

As most others said, I also enjoyed how he wanted Yale to move or burn so he could stay close to Ferris. Aw. <3
