the weather has been rough - not much of a break from the ice-sleet-snow the past few weeks. I don't mind terribly, I don't mind being able to work from home every once in a while...but I'd really like to get outside a bit more. A storm is coming in tonight as well - temps dropping into the 20's overnight. It's like I never left WI.

:0) not by choice remember.

you pull the sofa up to the fireplace, wear 3-4 layers, and snuggle with the dogs.

not incredibly productive.

49 degrees in the house?! Brrrr, that's like winter camping!

You know, you could just move to Wisconsin. Less ice, more capable plowing operations :)

no kidding.

last night I waited for 15 min, as the snow gathered and the plows tried to salt the "hill" that I needed to get over in order to get to our valley.

had to go around. almost got stuck in front of the mall for christakes. barely - really, barely made it home last night. this hilly stuff is rough.
we need a 4x4.

That is the FUNNIEST image of Radley I've ever seen! You can't even tell he has legs! He looks like the flying dog from "Never Ending Story"!
