This has been an incredibly spazztastically busy week--the computer at Martinizing's still broken, Chronicles of Narnia last Sunday, I was elected next DM in the RPG group within a 24 hour period, MSU Christmas party last night, Game night tonight, RPG night and the transition to my regime tomorrow

It's obviously because you protest this new movie, but I'm curious why you do.

The other thing they do (subtly) is diminish Aslan. From the first time the kids meet Mr. Beaver, it's all about, "Oh, your hignesses!" At one point, Father Christmas even says that the snow is melting because of them. There are a lot of little things like that in there... I dunno, in the book, it's all about Aslan being this great and wonderful ruler. Not that they completely ruin Aslan's power, but... they got to the whole Stone Table scene and it just felt like, ok, what's the big deal? There's some lion. Oh, that's nice. Here, kitty, kitty, kitty.
I don't actually mourn it though. They did a lot with the movie that I liked... it's just that the changes they made were disturbing.
