i may have to go check that out when i have time. my hatred for rinoa isn't catty-its the hatred of a badly scripted character that could have been wonderful if square hadn't made her sound like a whiny fluff-head. i have the same problem with aerith, too.

Please come and play with us! I kind of agree a little bit about Rinoa. I didn't really particularly like her in the game -- but fandom has really made me fall for her character, hard. I like her as a potentially crazy Sorceress just trying to, y'know, do her nails and win freedom for her hometown and stuff like that.

It makes me want to replay it, because I remember thinking she was kind of a doughy flake, but I'm pretty sure that's a judgemental and incorrect opinion! XDD

Oh, and by "catty" I mean "people who hate on Rinoa because she is getting in the way of Squall/Seifer buttsex and true love"

As I have a tendency of wanting to shake people about--buttsex doesn't mean that all the girls suddenly suck!

And I did hate on Aeris pretty badly my first play through on FF7... I think I've learned just to read between the lines.

Or you know. Ignore the parts of canon that annoy me.
