The things I really want to say I will try to sum up as follows:

  • “Losing weight” and “being skinny” are not actually always the same thing or even related…
  • …and neither one really is directly guaranteed to be related to “how you look”…
  • … and none of the above necessarily have anything to do with “being healthy”…

I could also insert a rant here, but a) I shouldn't dump my tl;dr rants on you and b) I'm about to get on a plane, so for now I'll just say thank you for saying this. :)

I would love to be skinny, but I have accepted that I will never be skinny because if I lost any more weight, I might die. My body has found its happy place.
