Thanks! Our supervisor was a bit miffed because we didn't wait for him before we started but if we had, he would have been the one to extract the tooth.

I like how the paper texture saves me from having to do too much shading.

No this! you can also do some quick shading in pencil (I'm doing it lately, but sloppily) you can then put one or two overlays on top of it and there you go

congrats on the tooth thing!

Well yes I did shade to death in pencil so that I wouldn't need to figure out the colouring for the complex shadows. :)

Your food posts always make me hungry ;A; Is bulgogi hard to make ( ... )

Bulgogi is really easy because I use a sauce/marinade pre-mix that I buy from the Asian market. There's recipes online for the full marinade you can make yourself but I'm just lazy. :P I do add some kecap manis to the final sauce to sweeten it up a bit.

Yea, I'm terrible at drawing foreshortened arms. I wasn't going to bother with looking for a ref because it takes me ages to find one that corresponds with the pose I chose. I might correct that before I scan in the finished pencil piece (I worked on this from a photo of the picture). I have a tendency to draw the heads too big always. I wasn't aiming for fashion model proportions (8 heads) though so would it matter? Or is everyone like a standard head size thing?

I tried adding a perspective effect to the reflection but I felt it just made the picture look too unbalanced (like his legs would be tilting to one side).

Yea, they are filled with a Philly cheese mixture instead of just cream. :3
