This post is full of food
I'm trying not to post anything until I have a finished art piece and I do.
Augh, the pasta sauce looks like blood. OTL This is a pencil sketch which I coloured very quickly and I'm very pleased with the results! I like how the paper texture saves me from having to do too much shading.
I've been using Powerpoint a lot lately and I LOVE the nifty picture effects you can do with the 2007 version including 3D and reflection (which is the lame inspiration behind placing that lame reflection effect to spice up my picture.
Along with the food I've cooked over the past few months.
^ Strawberry and almond tarts.
^ Blueberry cheesecake.
^ Bulgogi (oh man, this made me a carnivore all over againnnnnnn).
^ And Laduree has finally come to Dublin! There is hope in the gourmet desert after all...
Clockwise: cherry, green apple, rose petal (my favourite of the bunch, not too sweet but the fragrance is out of this world!).
^ As an aside, my marks of achievement: I finally extracted a tooth all by myself! Those welts (well, they aren't really...) were made by the handle of the extraction forceps.
It was really satisfying because the patient was utterly convinced that 2 slight Chinese girls (we work in pairs, and I'm paired with the other Malaysian in my class) would never be able to extract her tooth. We did get it out in 3 pieces and she was really impressed. :)
