CreditThank you to chaosmanor for graciously agreeing to let me rework her wonderful story Thursday's Child in a different fandom; this fic is what inspired me to try mpreg which is saying something. I encourage everyone to read it. It can be found right here.
Disclaimer: This is fiction people.
Feedback: Sure. Let me know what’s working for you.

Authors Notes: I never thought I’d do it but this is a big old MPreg. Read if you dare. It’s also a WIP and I’m not sure where it will go yet although it will probably be fairly long and I’ve got quite a few chapters roughed out. I’ve just been seeing people pining for domestic fics and (gulp) babies so thought I’d give it a shot.

Thank you jashelle1 for the awesome banner and poster you did for my story. You’re the best.

They were into September and the weather showed no sign of cooling. It was unbearable, even out at the beach. What little wind there was blew hot and did nothing to cool them down. The heat, coupled with his pregnancy, left Tommy irritable and cranky. He spent his days alternating between lying in the shade in his sarong, or naked if they were alone, and periodically dipping himself in the pool to cool off.

Adam had learned to keep himself at a safe distance when Tommy was at his worst, only coming near to deliver cold drinks, or food, or to rub his back. He only did that at night though, the rest of the time it was just too damn hot for close contact.

Adam had tried to talk Tommy into taking a drive, just to get out of the house for a while, but Tommy wasn’t willing. He could easily pass as a woman now and they both doubted anyone would recognize him but Tommy still felt very self conscious about his female body. Anyway, his horror sleeve didn’t really go along with his feminine look and it was far too hot to cover his tattoos up with long sleeved shirts.

Tommy did realize that he was being unfair to Adam in not wanting have anyone visit them at the beach house. Sutan’s visit had demonstrated to Tommy how much he missed seeing his friends. For Adam, a far more social animal, it must have been even worse. Adam would no longer go in to town to see friends so he was in what was effectively a type of solitary confinement; his only companionship a bitchy, increasingly pregnant, partner. Tommy had to give him credit; he probably would have hung himself if their positions were reversed.

Anyway, after giving it considerable thought, Tommy announced that they needed more visitors; his discomfort at having people see him wasn’t enough reason for them to become hermits. Adam had happily agreed so they’d had Lisa out with her family, Leila, Eber, and Neil. Allison Porter had come out for an afternoon and Tommy had called Chantela and she had readily agreed to fly down from the bay area for a weekend.

***********************************

Danielle came down to spend the weekend and brought her one year old son Adam, who was named after his godfather. She and Tommy sprawled out on the loungers and watched Adam play with the baby in the pool. Danielle was expecting again although she wasn’t quite as far along as Tommy.

Tommy made sure that Adam was distracted before he leaned closer to Danielle. “I need your advice.”

“Sure sweetie. What can I do for you?"

Tommy looked down at his chest a little nervously. He pulled at his T-shirt a little nervously. "Umm, I'm leaking a bit. I don't know what to do about it."

"Leaking? Really?"

Tommy nodded earnestly.

"You need to wear a bra, honey, and maybe some nursing pads."

Tommy shook his head. "Shit, no, I can't do that!"

Danielle tipped her head to one side while Tommy felt more and more uncomfortable. "Because the last tattered remnants of your masculinity won't allow it?"

Tommy nodded dejectedly. "I really don't think I can do that. I can cope with most things, but I don't think I can make myself wear a bra." He shuddered a little.

Danielle's gaze was sympathetic. "It doesn’t have to have lace or flowers. Maybe something like an exercise bra?"

Tommy looked blankly at her, his past girlfriends had never really been the types to wear exercise bras and while he’d appreciated the frilly underwire ones on them he wasn’t about to wear one himself. Danielle winked at him and pulled up her top to show him the sensible one she was wearing.

"Christ, Danielle, don’t do that!" Tommy exclaimed, as she laughed and pulled her shirt down again. He glanced over to see if Adam had been watching their exchange.

"That's an exercise bra. Think you might manage to wear that?"

Tommy looked dubious, and she leant forward and patted his arm. "You're going to need something, Tommy. You look like you could use some support."

He nodded reluctantly. "Can you buy me one?"

"I can't. I have no idea what size you are. You need to come with me."

Tommy crossed his arms defensively. "I can't, you know that."

Danielle's eyes narrowed a little. "Have you looked at yourself recently?"

Tommy looked even more stubborn. "No. It freaks me out."

Danielle nodded. "No one would recognize you out of context now. How about we go into town tomorrow morning and do some shopping? Adam can babysit.”

Tommy hesitated. It might be ok. Without Adam there, with another woman, one that wasn’t famous or anything, he might be okay. He recognized the look in Danielle’s eyes, she knew she was winning so he wasn’t surprised when she continued to press her case.

“It’ll be fun! Believe me; I need a day off from the monster baby. You’ll know what I mean soon enough, Tommy. We can go out for lunch too. I’ll even buy!

Tommy nodded grudgingly. “Maybe.”

“So you’ll come?”

“Alright. Just don’t expect too much, okay? The whole idea is weird.”

“Sure, sweetie.”

“And one more thing. One condition. You have to buy my nursing pads for me.”

Danielle beamed at him. “Deal.”

*********************************

Dr. Frost continued to make house calls to monitor Tommy’s pregnancy. When she was out towards the end of September and examined him as usual she sat back afterwards and shook her head.

“It’s time to move closer to town,” she told them.

“But I’m only 23 weeks,” Tommy immediately objected.

“Don’t try that with me, Tommy. I’m an obstetrician. That’s comparable to 25 weeks of a normal pregnancy, and you know it. Your baby is very close to being viable, and I want you somewhere you can be delivered in a hurry if you need to be. It’s been fine for you to hide out here while the baby was too small to survive if anything went wrong, but it probably weighs a pound and a half now, nearly big enough to have a chance.”

Tommy looked up at Adam anxiously. They had both hoped to stay at the beach for some time, until the baby was due and at least until the weather cooled down. Adam had been in to the city a few days for meetings and the heat had been oppressive. Tommy was uncomfortable enough out here in the hot weather; he didn’t want to think how he’d do in Hollywood.

Dr. Frost packed the Doppler away, and Adam asked, “Are you sure? We really wanted to stay here where it’s private.”

She nodded. “I’m sure. You need to think about what’s best for the baby. Anyway, I’m going to need to start seeing you once a week soon and I can’t be driving out here all the time.” Dr. Frost wiped her brow and looked longingly at the water. “As nice as it is.”

She stood up and picked up her bag. “We’ll do the same thing as before. I’ll arrange to see you at about 7.30 in the morning, when my offices are deserted. That way you don’t have to worry about anyone recognizing you.” She considered Tommy’s appearance. “Not that there is much chance of that now.”

Tommy rose slowly from the couch and stretched out his back. He felt like an old man some mornings and he still wasn’t convinced that they should move into LA. He felt safe here at the beach, safe and at home.

“When do we need to move to town?”

“By the first week of October, at the absolute latest.”

Tommy’s face fell; it meant they had little over a week left. That was much too soon and he started to protest until Dr. Frost cut him off with a stern look.

“Tommy,” she said carefully. “This is about to become very difficult for you, I want you somewhere safe, with plenty of medical help. You know how uncomfortable it is when the baby kicks your bowels now?”

Tommy nodded. “Yeah, it hurts.”

“Soon, those kicks will be a hundred times stronger, as the baby continues to grow. These pregnancies are difficult. I want you somewhere I can supervise pain management if it becomes too hard for you. Adam may need help looking after you too, and he can’t get it here, so far from everything.”

Tommy blinked back tears. “I want to stay.”

Adam moved beside Tommy and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. “I know. I do too, but listen to Dr. Frost. We need to be near the hospital, not two hours away like we are now.”

Tommy nodded and wiped his face roughly. “Wish I didn’t keep bursting into tears all the time.”

Dr. Frost laughed gently and patted his shoulder. “All pregnancies are like that. It’s just one of those things.”

********************************

Adam woke during the night, his sleep unsettled by something. It wasn’t Tommy, who was lying in bed beside him for a change, his back to Adam, instead of prowling around the house restlessly.

Adam rolled over so he was close to Tommy and settled his face against Tommy’s neck. Although he was trying to be quiet Adam could immediately feel the other man's body shaking with sobs. Tommy was crying.

Closing his eyes again momentarily, Adam asked, "Is it the baby?"

He rested his hand against Tommy’s belly, and Tommy’s hair tickled his face as he nodded his head. “Yeah”

Adam moved his hand over the mound of his child, and felt the staccato drum beat of the baby’s legs and feet against his hand. “How long's it been awake?”

“God,” Tommy sighed. “Hours.”

Adam vaguely remembered hearing the shower run some time before, and realised it must have been Tommy hoping the warmth would soothe the baby. He briefly considered singing to it, sometimes that helped but then Tommy tensed, and Adam could feel the infant’s heels banging against Tommy’s body.

He pushed back the covers and reached for his jeans, draped over a chair beside the bed. Once dressed, he knelt beside Tommy’s side of the bed. “Think you can get up?”

Tommy nodded, and Adam helped him sit up, and knelt before him and guided his feet into a pair of sweatpants.

When Tommy stood up and pulled a t-shirt on, Adam took a pillow off the bed and tucked it under his arm.

He used the other to hold Tommy steady as Tommy walked slowly down the stairs, feeling for each step with his feet, unable to see where he was walking now.

In the hallway, Tommy said, “Where are we going? Don’t make me go to the hospital.”

Adam picked up his keys and his cell phone and shook his head. “No. We’re just going for a drive.”

Tommy gave him a puzzled look but went along with it without saying anything more. Adam held Tommy steady while he manoeuvred his bulk into the passenger seat of the car. Adam leant over to do up the seatbelt, then handed him the pillow.

“Danielle told me one time that she used to take Adam for a drive when he wouldn’t stop crying and it would make him go to sleep,” Adam said as he climbed into the driver’s seat. “Just relax, and I’ll drive.” He slid a CD into the stereo and started the car.

He watched Tommy put the pillow between him and the door, recline the seat a little and drop his head onto the pillow. Tommy rubbed his hand softly over his belly and Adam saw when he would push gently over a knee or an elbow that was pushing out. Silently, he willed the baby to sleep. Adam started the car and drove out into the night. The moon was full overhead and Tommy watched the road slide by in the dark until he dropped off to sleep.

********************************

The sun had risen when Adam leant across from the open driver’s door and shook Tommy’s shoulder gently. “Wake up.”

Tommy blinked his eyes and lifted his head from the pillow wedged against the passenger window. “Where are we?”

“San Luis Obispo. At a motel. I’m too tired to drive anymore, so I got us a room.”

At the motel room door, Tommy asked, “How long have you been driving?”

Adam helped Tommy out of the car and supported him while he waddled towards the room. “About two hours.”

When Tommy got a good look at the motel they’d stopped at he couldn’t help but laugh. It was far from the kind of place Adam normally stayed. It was one of those 1950’s style motels with a rundown office in front of a long block of rooms. There were only four cars parked in front of the units, including Adam’s mustang. A partially burnt out neon sign faced the highway.

“It looks like the Bates Hotel,” Tommy snickered.

Adam grinned down at him. “I know. I knew you’d love it.”

Adam unlocked the door and swung it open, gesturing with a flourish for Tommy to go inside. “Welcome to the “No Tell Hotel.”

The room smelt a little musty, and Tommy heard Adam tearing the paper strip off the toilet so that he could piss. He flicked on the air conditioner set in the window and pulled back the bed covers, a cheap coverlet over a rough wool blanket. He pushed his sweats off and dragged his t-shirt over his head and climbed wearily into the bed.

Adam pulled off his clothes and settled beside him, rolling over to rest his head on Tommy’s shoulder. The baby didn’t kick against his hip, and Tommy kissed Adam’s scalp and fell asleep.

*****************************

Tommy woke much later, rolled over and found Adam still sound asleep beside him. When he propped himself up on one elbow and rubbed his eyes sleepily, he saw it was mid day. His stomach growled alarmingly and he decided he better find something to eat.

Adam woke up some time afterwards to the slight of Tommy sitting in the only chair in the room, in front of the TV, munching on corn chips.

“Hey,” he said sleepily, and Tommy turned to smile at him.

“Hey,” Tommy replied.

“You get some more sleep?”

Tommy nodded. “I did, and then I woke up starving.” He looked at the floor around him, littered with empty packets. “I seem to have eaten everything from the mini-bar.” His eyes went back to the TV and he laughed. “Jerry Springer is such a dickhead, I can’t believe anyone would go on his show.”

“I got my boyfriend pregnant, and now we’re in a crappy motel watching Jerry Springer,’” Adam said, and laughed too. “Come on, let’s check out of this dive and go home.”

***************************

They pulled into a beach park on the way back where Adam remembered seeing sea lions as a kid. It was mid week and there was hardly anyone around. They walked down to the observation point and watched the giant mammals for a while, Adam standing behind Tommy with his arms wrapped around him and his chin resting on the top of his head.

“It’s beautiful here,” he mumbled into Tommy’s hair.

“Yeah, it is.”

“You know, I’m glad this all happened. Even though it’s been hard sometimes, I wouldn’t change it for anything.”

Tommy squeezed Adam’s arm where he was resting his hand. “Neither would I,” he told Adam.

He swivelled around in Adam’s arms and looked up at him. “But at the risk of not being romantic, I think we better get going. I’m going to have to piss again soon and for some reason I can’t do it standing up anymore. And if I squat I’ll end up pissing all over my feet.”

********************************

Tommy was on the deck playing his guitar although the size of the baby now made it extremely difficult to hold and he had to put it down often and stretch out the muscles in his back. The baby had been blessedly quiet all afternoon so he didn’t feel like he’d been worked over by a football team.

It was the end of the month and their time at the beach was almost up. Adam was in town arranging to have his condo cleaned and stocked with food. They planned to move during the next week and the thought of it made Tommy sad. Staying at the beach had been idyllic.

He put his guitar down and smiled when he saw Adam coming through the living room and out onto the deck. He was dressed casually in jeans and an old t-shirt and was wearing a ball cap, his standard disguise. He looked tired and hot.

“Hey,” Tommy greeted him. “How was it in town?”

“Busy, hot, the traffic sucked,” Adam told Tommy as he collapsed beside him on the lounger. He took off his hat and threw it at the end of the mattress and ran his hands through his hair to cool off.

“What’ve you been up to today.”

“Same old shit,” Tommy smiled. It was getting to be a joke. “Oh, except my mom called. She and Roy will be back next week. I told them we’d call when we’re moved back to Hollywood.”

“I’m glad. I was afraid they wouldn’t get back before the baby comes.”

“Yeah, me too.”

Adam sighed. “Jesus it was hot in there. I’m sweating like a pig.”

“Why don’t you have a shower or get yourself a cold drink?”

Adam lay back with his eyes shut. “In a minute maybe. I’ve got a killer headache.”

Tommy slid closer and adjusted his bulk. He reached over and rested his hand on Adam’s shoulder, “come here.” He pulled gently until Adam leaned in and rested his head on Tommy’s chest and threw an arm loosely over his belly. Tommy rubbed the back of Adam’s neck gently, easily feeling the tension there. The heat of the day had passed and they lay like that in the late afternoon sun and let the distant rumble of the surf lull them both into sleep.

They woke an hour or so later, Adam first and then Tommy. When Tommy opened his eyes he saw that Adam had slid down and now had his head resting against his belly and was running his fingers gently over the taut skin.

Tommy yawned, “Hear anything good in there?”

Adam smiled and answered without looking up. “All quiet.”

“Yeah, it’s been like that all day.” He ran his hand through Adam’s thick hair. Hey, I was thinking…”

He ruffled gently and Adam sighed contentedly. “Ummmm?”

“I was thinking that maybe we should get some pictures taken of us, of this,” he gestured down towards his pregnant belly, “you know. Cause there really isn’t that much time left, and I was thinking, if we were to do it, we should do it out here at the beach?”

He paused. Adam stopped stroking Tommy’s belly and looked up but didn’t say anything. “What do you think?”

Adam looked at him thoughtfully. “I think it’s a great idea,” he said.

“Do you think Lee would do it?”

“I’m sure he would if he’s around. I can call him right now.” Adam started to push himself up but then stopped. “Are you sure though?”

“Yeah, I am. I’ve been thinking about it for a couple days.”

“You’re okay with him knowing? I’ve never told him, or Scarlett either.”

“It’ll be pretty hard to hide at this point,” Tommy chuckled. “No, I don’t mind if they know. I trust both of them.”

“Yeah, me too,” Adam agreed.

Tommy smiled. Who better to do any photos of them? Lee had been photographing Adam for years. It was a no brainer. “Maybe they’d like to bring the kids out for the weekend?”

**********************************

Lee had been delighted at the idea though slightly surprised at the circumstances. He brought Scarlett and the boys out Saturday afternoon and while she took them for a long walk down the beach and a swim Lee, Adam and Tommy prepared for the photo shoot. They put on a little make up while Lee set up all his equipment.

When they were ready and on their way back to the deck Adam stopped Tommy with a hand on his arm.

“Are you sure?”

“Yeah, absolutely. You?”

Adam smiled. “Yeah. I just don’t want you to go ahead with it if you have any doubts.”
Tommy shook his head. “None. Come on, Lee’s probably ready by now. I want to get this done before Scarlett gets back with the kids. I don’t want to scar them for life.”

Lee looked up from his camera, “So, how do you want to do this? What do you have in mind?”

Tommy bit his lip, he had some ideas, he just wasn’t sure what Adam would think about them.
Lee looked from one of them to the other. “I’ve done quite a few of these and quite often the couples do them nude. Pregnancy is an amazing thing, it deserves to be documented. I can take all the photos you want and then just give you the memory card when I’m done. Then you can do whatever you like with the photos later. You’ll have the only copy.”

He started moving his lights around, adjusting them so that they shone on the lounger they’d be using for the shoot. Tommy had decided on at least that much. It seemed fitting, it seemed like he’d barely gotten his ass off the thing for the last few weeks.

“Yeah,” Tommy agreed. “That was kind of what I was thinking.”

Lee smiled at them and nodded. “Ok then, go ahead and get undressed. I’m almost ready.”
Tommy started to undo his sarong, turning away for a bit of privacy, not that his still scrawny ass was much less embarrassing than his pregnant belly and now fairly impressive rack. He stopped when he realized that Adam was just standing there and had not starting to take off his clothes.

Tommy gave him a bemused look. “If you think I’m going to get nude pictures of what’s left of my junk, and these,” he said, looking down at his chest, “and you’re going to have clothes on, you’re out of your mind.”

Adam looked worried. “Everything?”

“You bet, Babyboy. All of it.”

Adam starred at Tommy. “If these ever get on the internet....”

“They won’t,” Tommy assured him.

He watched as Adam thought about it a minute. There had to be a certain amount of trust in doing something like this and he didn’t want to consider what it would mean if Adam was unwilling to do it. Finally Adam nodded and began to undress.

Tommy let out a breath and watched as Adam turned his back and pulled off his t-shirt and then his pants and underwear. When he turned around again he was cupping himself self-consciously; Tommy knew Adam had never really been comfortable getting photographed without a shirt on, never mind completely naked. This was a big step for him.

Tommy stood in front of him and smiled reassuringly. “No one will ever see these except us. And the baby when it’s time. Don’t worry.”

Adam smiled a little shakily and Tommy handed him the sarong. “Here, why don’t you wrap this around your waist until we’re ready to shoot.

“Thanks.”

Tommy ran his hand down over Adam’s abdomen. All the work outs had definitely paid off. Adam was ripped. “You look amazing,” Tommy told him. “We better get some pictures. “You may never look this good again.”

Finally Adam laughed. “I’m not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not.”

Tommy winked at him, took his hand and led him over to the lounger. Adam stood by while Tommy lay out on the chaise and then sat down beside him. They both looked a little nervously at Lee who, to his credit, didn’t blink an eye when he saw Tommy’s belly.

“My word,” was all he said and then efficiently got to work.

They had all the photos they needed in less than half an hour. Tommy had thought he’d feel self-conscious posing nude, especially in his current state, but it wasn’t bad. Lee was so calm and professional and had so many good ideas for poses that covered what needed to be covered and yet were still very sensual. It was empowering in a way Tommy hadn't realized it would be.

They took pictures of Tommy’s belly from all angles, some with Adam’s hand resting over it and some with his cheek instead, Tommy’s hand resting gently on Adam’s head. There were even some with a bit of a bulge that must have been an elbow or a knee pressing from within. They took some with Adam lying with his head rested on Tommy’s breast and looking up thoughtfully at Tommy and of course, Tommy looking just as intently back down at him.

Lee clicked away, leaning down at times, sometimes circling around for a different angle, offering suggestions as to how they should move their limbs, how to turn, what to do next. There were some with only a thin layer of sarong between Adam’s cock and the camera where one could easily see there was nothing underneath except Adam.

Finally, when the close contact was starting to get the better of him, and the Glambulge became determined to make an appearance, Tommy started to giggle and whispered to Adam, “Just think about changing diapers.”

They both dissolved into laughter and were quickly joined by Lee. “Ok, I think we’ve got enough. I don’t want this to get out of hand. Why don’t you two go ahead and get dressed.”
Before they’d even had a chance to get up Lee popped the memory card out of his camera and handed it to Tommy.

“Here, they’re all yours. You can go through them and decide what ones you want to keep, or print, or whatever you want to do with them. Just be sure to back them up. That’s the only copy.”

Tommy took the tiny card from Lee. “Thanks. And thanks for doing this for us. It means a lot,” he told him as he wrapped the sarong back around himself.

Lee smiled at him. “I’m honoured that you asked.”

Adam had already pulled on his pants when Tommy turned to him and was pulling his shirt down over his head. Tommy handed the card to him. “Here, you can look after it, okay?”

Adam nodded and took it. “I’ll put it on my laptop and then you can do the same. We should make sure we each have a copy.”

Tommy smiled at the idea. They each had a lot to lose in peace of mind if the pictures were ever made public and yet Tommy didn’t have an ounce of hesitation in entrusting them to Adam. He was glad that Adam seemed to feel the same way.
