We're getting professional photos taken tomorrow, but we went over to the home of agentoz and admiringbog and Eric was kind enough to take the following photo for us:

Thanks! agentoz has a great camera and a good eye, so he's able to get some awesome photos :)

Mia's been fairly okay with photography in the past, but who knows how tomorrow will go? We'll see!

I'd forget about "professional"... that's one of *the* best family photos I've seen - it'd look great on a card! (There are several place that will do the cards from a digital photo - my sister's been doing them that way for a few years now)

Thanks! We're happy with it and it will likely end up being our Christmas card, but I don't want to make a final decision until I see the other portrait. I do know that pretty much everywhere does digital photo cards... that's all anyone does anymore. I have a card drafted with one place and have looked into the designs of many others. I'm still shopping around.

I LOVE this picture! It's almost unbelieveable how Ed's eyes are open and Mia is paying perfect attention and smiling at the same time.

Thanks! I know, it was pretty perfect timing on Eric's part! The funny thing is that the original shows admiringbog making a goofy face in the glare of the framed print that I ended up cropping out of the photo. It was hysterical when we looked at it on the laptop.

I vote that it is a WONDERFUL photo for card. Beautiful house, great tree, well taken.. I could be biased though. Really, it turned out so well.
