Don't you just hate it when people are cooking food and then they leave the kitchen? And I'm not talking about cooking like baking a cake or boiling rice. I'm talking about quick cooking.
I cannot lie: I am one of those people when it comes to cooking but moreso for when I'm heating oil up then actual cooking. Like if I'm frying something, I'll probably sit at the kitchen table or wander for a bit but I'm the worst when it comes to heating up oil. The amount of times I've nearly started a fire. It's part of the reason my dad doesn't wanna teach me how to cook proper Ghanaian food (I'm getting there though).
I have no words for the microwave story. So you know a guy whose illiterate and your brother doesn't know how to use a microwave? *shakes head*.
That popcorn thing is so disgusting and I totally get what you mean about it being akin to leaving McDonald's fries in the fridge -- they are SO disgusting once they are no longer fresh which leads me to believe there are drugs in the oil (there aren't but I have no love for that place minus their hashbrowns and bacon cheeseburgers) lol

I love essay entries/comments so I can't complain when you comment.
Frying something that takes more than 2 seconds and leaving is reasonable. But when you're frying something that you know can burn easy then I don't understand why would you leave. Frying steak or chicken is another story.
And yeah, McDonald fries are disgusting once they aren't fresh anymore. -5000 for loving the hashbrowns and bacon cheesburgers. Don't forget the milkshakes. I effin' love the milkshakes!!!
Off topic but how much do you love my new icon? God I don't know why but I fucking love these two together <3. Chace and Ed have to take a backseat to this shit.
I used to like milkshakes from McDonald's but they're too fattening plus the cream they put into the machine is totally gross (I used to work at McDonald's when I was 16 [holy shit that was like 4 years ago - I'm getting so old!!!], hence my disdain).
Why don't you stay at a buddy's for the week or are you afraid of the havoc your sibs will wreak if you aren't there to hold down the fort?
That icon is full of win and I totally agree about the Chace/Ed taking a backseat to the both of them. Leighton/Jessica FTW!
The thing is, I never even tasted the McDonalds milkshakes until like 2 weeks ago. I remember the first time I took a sip from my little cousin's cup I was HOOKED. I kept asking for more. And now I find myself craving them almost every day. But then again, my favorite thing to eat is ice cream so it makes sense.
As for staying a buddy's house, the buddy who's house I would sleep by for a weekend(my black goth friend. She lives on campus, btw) isn't back from Baton Rouge(it's Louisiana's capital city) yet so I have nowhere to go... unless I sleep by a fling's house. I should call my cousin's boyfriend and ask him if I can crash by his house for a day or two.
