Friday, of course, was opening night, and although the kids had a few flubs, overall I was so very proud of them.  88 people in the audience (which is good from a school that supports Drama very little).  After the show, slight change of plans, and Dave, Ryan and I met Heather, Sarah, and Dave Ruffner at Hacienda Grande. Girl needed a margarita.

Last night was a good rehearsal.  The usual flubbed lines, and a few missed cues, but overall, wow.  We've got a fantastic show on our hands.  I really think this one might end up the best yet.

I am really excited for tonight.  I couldn't sleep last night, of course that could have been from the 40 oz of lattes yesterday (thanks Ron!!)

So last night was....interesting...

Tuesday's rehearsal went smooth.  It was our first night with the combo and on stage.  Things were pretty good.

Last night however...was our first night with costumes (and there are a ton a costume changes) and the first night moving the set.  The set failed.  It was hard to move and one of the braces crumbled.  So ( Read more... )

 My hair is burgandy which is closer to red than the dark brown (almost black) it was before.  It's better, but I want my chestnut red back.

 OK, first and foremost, Charlie Brown has ended.  Teared up just a little bit during "happiness" especially the kick-ass acappella part: "happiness is singing, singing together when day is through, and happiness is those who sing with you."  Th show ends in a group hug and it was the tightest group hug yet.  We are taking the show to OCTA (Ohio ( Read more... )
