One more show down, and only two more to go:(
Last night was another good performance, although we have to be careful not to get too comfy in our performances. Three of my MHS students came to show last night: Jamal, MacKenzie, and Beth. Angie came too. So they got to meet Bobby, Jimmy, and Jackie. I was joking around with the cast afterwards: "So I told all of my students I was in this show, and only 3 have shown up. I wonder who will be cast?"
Got some wonderful complements from Craig about my performances. He is one of those "theatre people" that I respect highly so it meant a lot.
I will actually have some friends in the audience tonight. Its been real unfortunate, but hardly anyone has come to see this show. (actually I'll admit the insecure lonely little girl inside of me wonders about that...) But Ron, Christy, Ben, and Janine are coming tonight...so yeah! And after the show we are going to Masque and we have the VIP room. So woot.
Dawn is putting together a production of Godspell and so far Jimmy, Bobby and I are in it. Yeah! We will be doing it this september...I am excited.
