Well...some of the weekend was good...

Friday: Deadlands 
So, this was  our 5th game (my 4th).  The game was going pretty good.  We didn't have either of our heavies, but we had a "man in black" and huxter, so it's not like we didn't have some fire power.  And my character is like an oober doctor (6d12 in general med and 4d12 in surgery) so we were

I personally "dumbed down" a scripted campaign that I was running because it would have killed everyone...

If I knew I was leading players to their deaths, I'd give them tools to survive.. like an orange healy-thingamajig... and uber lasers of doom...

um, what a horrible ending to a decent starting campaign. I have no qualms with killing players, hideously, and without a chance of winning at all... but just closing up shop at the peak?

I'm itching to run another DL game, but I probably just wont have time. going back to school in the fall.. and right now it's work, the gym, and the scottish play. maybe someday... :(

Any Character concepts in mind to get my creative juices flowing? and do you have my rascals varmints and critters book still? heh..

I think it would be fun to play a "bad party" like a gang or something. And I never had your rascals, varmints, etc book. Sorry not me:)

Having limited experience with games, I'd still be irked if the game went that way! Not much incentive to play again if you ask me.

I'm having fun with Serenity. Hard to interact with everyone all the time in such a big group, but the group we have is a lot of fun. As for V getting the Mei Mei when the Bossman leaves... hmmmm.... not sure about her alliance ties, but willing to give it a go. ;-)
