{drabble} This Old Man

Just a little something I came up with quickly. And yes, I have entered that time in my life where this is now one of my problems. So I decided to make it one of Kame's too.

Title: This Old Man
Author: fireside_story
Pairing: KameDa
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 621

Disclaimer: Don't own the boys... only the idea.

It had been one of those days that felt like they'd never end. Ever since lunch Ueda had been looking forward to taking off his contacts, which had been driving him crazy all day, crawling into bed and snuggling up to Kame as he read. Now he was wearing his glasses and was waiting in bed for the other man to come out of the bathroom so the snuggling could begin. Hearing a loud groan of disbelief Ueda looked towards the door to the bathroom in time to see Kame run from the bathroom to the bed, burying himself under the covers. Ueda tried to pull the sheets away from his lover's face, but Kame seemed to have a death grip on the covers since they weren't moving.

"Don't look at me! I'm hideous and old!" Kame declared as Ueda tried to peer over the top of the covers.

"Excuse me, but if you're old then what am I?" Ueda reasoned trying not to sound too offended at the 'old' remark.

Kame tightened his grip on the sheets, Ueda wondering for a moment how long it was going to be before he poked a finger through the fabric, his voice coming out muffled from under the covers, "but you don't look old, I do."

Ueda sighed, getting frustrated with Kame's argument, "how can you possibly look older then me?" He heard Kame's answer, but it came out too muffled to hear it properly.
"I'm sure the covers were very interested in what you had to say. I, however, didn't catch a word of that."

Kame pushed the covers off his face in a huff, "I found a grey hair," he stated firmly before pulling the covers over his head again.

"On your head? How? You haven't had your natural hair colour since you were twenty?" Ueda was trying very hard not to laugh. Now that he knew that the problem was he found the whole thing comical, and very cute.

Kame pushed the covers away from his face again, "I saw it, I know it's there."

Ueda turned back to his book, pushing his glasses further up his nose, "if you say so Dear." He read in silence for about a minute before he felt Kame repeatedly poke his arm to try and get his attention. He looked down at his lover who had pulled the covers up to his chin.

"Will you still love me when I'm old and grey?" Kame asked quietly. With the tone of voice and look on his face it was hard for Ueda to believe Kame was even in his late twenties.

Ueda placed his book on his bedside table and cuddled into the younger man, resting his head on the other's chest. "Considering I'll be even older and greyer, yes I will. I'm also prepared to beat any old ladies off of you with my cane if any try to steal you away from me."
"That'll be an interesting sight," Kame chuckled the sound running deep through Ueda's core.

"I can think of something we can do now that we might not be able to do when we're older," Ueda purred trailing kisses down his lover's chest.

"Only if you leave your glasses on. It's a sight I'm going to have to get used to." Kame quipped as Ueda straddled his waist.

Ueda pulled Kame's shirt over his head, which was quickly followed by his own, "you have the strangest train of thought."

"Just come here and kiss me Old Man."

Ueda smiled before he obliged. As Kame showered Ueda with pleasures until he was seeing stars dance before his eyes, Ueda promised he'd always be by this man's side. Grey hairs and all.
