[This is here because I feel like I have been having trouble characterizing lately. Especially with Calgara, and a bit with Kaku. Eneru too. Though any concrit on Eneru will have to be pre-apple switch, as that is occurring in a few minutes.

So here's my thing with them:

Calgara - fireofshandoraI love this character. But lately, I feel as though I've had him

Calgara:
Is made of win. I really love talking to him - he seems rather formal and well educated for a warrior, but it still seems to be IC for him; there's no feeling of oddness to it. Considering all the things you could have done with his characters, considering how minor he is canon-wise, I'm really enjoying it!

Kaku:
Is also enjoyable, if an evil rat. Vengeance will be swift.

Eneru:
I haven't interacted with him, so never mind.

Calgara: He's been hanging out with Robin a lot lately. XD He's learned a lot! I've tried to replicate the way that the subtitles have him speak, which is generally somewhat well-spoken. Not a lot of slang, etc. I'm trying to get across the idea that he is from a long time ago, and has different manners of speech, ideas, and the fact that he's trying to overcome the notion of his peoples' traditions in this modern place. So, thank you! <3

Kaku: looks forward to Rayleigh's vengeance. It could be fun!

No worries about Eneru. He's not himself this week anyway. XD

Calgara is fine. As Raliegh's player said above me, he's probably a little more formal and nice than I see him in canon. But again, he's in about five chapters so he's really open to interpretation.

I don't really interact with Kaku so I can't say.

As for Eneru, I think he's fine. I imagine it's REALLY hard to play him and I wouldn't touch him with a fifty foot pole but you seem to be managing!

Some other advice is breaking up how you post. You seem to post with all your characters at the same time. It's really hard to get some good interaction with people if you've got two or three character posts out there. Try posting with only Kaku in a day (while also having him interact in other journals) and save posting with Calgara or Eneru until another day. (You can have them comment, just not POST. Know what I mean?)

Hmm. Yes, Calgara does at times seem a bit too intellectual. However, considering who he's been hanging out with lately, it makes sense that some of that might rub off. As far as the angry/protective/OFF MY TURF thing... maybe post every once in awhile about raiding parties, or Marine attempts at taking out the Sunny. I mean, they're always chasing the Mugiwaras, so run with it. IDK. Robin doesn't generally post those things because they aren't news to her anymore, unless something in particular happens. So. Also, if you're feeling particularly brave, try having Calgara jump into a Robin/Croc thread, and see how that turns out. You might get a good fight out of it, yanno?

The only unfortunate thing is that you play both Calgara and Eneru. Those two could have some seriously epic interactions... except you'll probably get bored of it really fast. But there's also the total control you could have over what happens with them, and that can be fun in it's own way. Think of it as telling a really awesome story to the rest of us

Oooooh. I might just have to jump into a Robin/Croc thread. XD That could be VERY fun. I'll keep the raiding parties and such in mind as well. Thanks!

I've been considering dropping Eneru for that reason, among others. His posts and comments don't come as easily to me as Calgara or Kaku, and it can be frustrating at times. But I love what interactions that have been going on so far. I'd love to have a Wiper to have both Calgara and Eneru interact with. XD

I DO need to have Kaku and Zoro interact. I don't know why I actually haven't. Now that he's not nine years old anymore, perhaps it will be more entertaining. XD

Maybe if you aren't having a whole lot of fun with Eneru, drop him and like, NPC him around like mad. Cuz we really do love him... Heh.
