as Hermie the hermit crab has died. She has taken it very well and told me that 'that is how life is'. We still have Rigel.
We think it may have been as Hermie would not go to a bigger shell. He kept going back to his old one and then stayed!

We will probably go and get 'Hermie 2' on the weekend

I have heard today that Gary Gygax has died. The ex-uni student in me and geeky, long time gamer is mourning. I discovered his worlds in 1979 and still play (not as often as I would like). It is a long weekend, so I think some roleplaying is in order!
We have half a bookshelf of books, including novels etc... 
sigh...
it is an end of an era, for me.
