Managed to start on the handsewn eyelets today. I am trying metal rings/washers this time, as research says that metal rings were used on some extant dresses. However, I will need to get a larger size, as the hole will be a little small... :(

You found out they were too small after you'd sewed on *how* many? I hope not a lot!

one. I did one on the other side to match. I will use this to knot the cord behind (as it is on the bottom).
