If it helps, I also think you're crazy for sewing fur anything on a 42C heatwave day :-)

Oh, I love it!

I saw a mink wrap for $US10 yesterday on Etsy. Almost sent you the link, but didn't.
Do you want me to, if I see inexpensive fur on my Etsy travels? I'm in all the vintage shops a lot.

I am not sure on postage to Australia, for furs from OS... thanks for the offer, but I prefer to see the fur before I buy it to see the condition. But... having said that, I am sure I would probably take a look, as would others... so posting them would probably be a good idea!

"Anonmymous" was me. For some reason, LJ suddenly keeps forgetting my log-in cookie.

WOW and approximate dimensions? anonymous January 25 2010, 16:24:31 UTC
Wow. This muff is gorgeous and practical. Approximately what are the dimensions of the finished muff. It looks large enough to cover both hands. Unlike some I've seen, it looks small enough to be an accessory rather than luggage.

thanks.
size = 36x30 cm (red one). (it fit the size of fur jacket I was recycling). I made a slightly longer one for the auction tourney (just incase)...
Yep, fits both hands, but not too loosely...
