I wrote this a long, long time ago, but never got around to posting it, or showing it to the person who inspired it. The plot was inspired by my life, and the idea to turn it into a story was inspired by someone else's piece about her grandmother's funeral. Me too. I love you, woman. The inspiration for this and so many other things. I'm glad I could write this for us. So many things that I can't say any other way. I hope this gets across everything that I was never able to say.

thank you. you know how much i like your writing, so the fact that you liked this really means a lot. :) it's a story that means a lot to me, so I'm glad that people like it, and that it affects them like it affects me. i thought maybe it just affected me that way because i'm the one who lived it. good to know that i can convey that in a way that makes people feel.

Wow...thanks. I wish I could write more like that but I think this was a one time thing...so easy because it all just poured out. When it's real like that you just feel it and it feels right.

Also...I just got your Xmas card!!! :D So so cute. I need to get a move on my cards...I don't wanna be a slacker! My goal is to get them done soon, but if I don't send them out very soon, yours might not get there til after Christmas. So yeah...maybe you'll get a New Year's/Christmas card. Heh.
