I've hit the bottom of the employment bucket. I just applied at Best Buy. I need a job, and Taler tells me that Best Buy is not a terrible place to work. The tricky thing continues to be that I need to be able to do all my work for the Store, the Cast, and the Con while having a job which limits my options. The SL job is still pending. I can sympathize... that's why I'm also at JoAnn's now. The graphic design just doesn't cut it for everything I need to pay for.

By "their tech people" do you mean UMass's, or Teseracte's? Our experience with UMass tech in the past has been that they either didn't exist or were uncoordinated and marginally competent, you may recall.

Teseracte in terms of stage tech. Not sure about lights. Just one more thing to be "interesting".

I and a few other CAP cast members should be on hand to jump in if things start going poorly. On the plus side, in terms of stage tech, our toughest cue is due to the small size of our stage. It is not nearly so difficult on the larger stage.

while that sucks, at least you can be grateful that the bottom of your ladder is bestbuy. For many it's cumbies, McDonalds or night janitor. Or you could change the diapers on old people.
