I've hit the bottom of the employment bucket. I just applied at Best Buy. I need a job, and Taler tells me that Best Buy is not a terrible place to work. The tricky thing continues to be that I need to be able to do all my work for the Store, the Cast, and the Con while having a job which limits my options. The SL job is still pending. The owner is now thinking about if he wants to reopen the position, and I can call back Thursday to find out.
I saw Episode 3.5 of BSG today. It was decent, although a little bit of a letdown after episode 4. Then again, 4 was pretty hard to top.
Tomorrow is Rocky at UMass. Should be an interesting time. I am sure that our actors are up to the challenge, but it will be interesting in that we have no time to rehearse on the stage which is 3x the size of our home stage and we are working with their tech people, whom we have never worked with. I do not doubt their skill, but I know that our blocking is different from theirs, so there may be some confusion.
Fortunately, I live for this shit!
