Actually, totally random comment, but Russel Tovey's character isn't human, he's one of those Whoniverse aliens who just conveniently happens to look like a human. So Jack might "pass" in a contemporary alien bar not because humans are common there, but because we look like so many other species.
Midshipman Frame was shot in VoTD, but was one of the few survivors. IIRC, none of the people on the Titanic-ship were human, not even Astrid and Mister Copper, and I think that's stated explicitly in the ep.
Yup, I just rewatched last night, and it looks like that wasn't as bad a hit as I'd thought. In fact, by the end, he's barely favoring his side at all. And you're right: no humans aboard. For some reason, I'd had it in my head they were future humans traveling back in time to see the Earth.
Much agreed with the WTFery! I found End of Time (Part Two especially) melodramatic and weird, but not without its good points. Wish there could have been more of Donna...
I don't think it was Rose/Bad Wolf music exclusively, because they played that same refrain during "Turn Left" when the Doctor died. I think of it as the "Sad Doctor Who Theme."
Jo and I both felt the woman in white was his mother.

Some parts were good, some were huh?
I will admit that I am not as apprehensive about Eleven now that I've seen his first thirty seconds. I have hope, I should say. Time will tell.

Ah, I hadn't realized that. That does make it a bit less confusing then. *nods* And it does seem to be a growing consensus that that was his mother.
