Explosions in London

So far, everyone I know personally over there is well clear of this, thank all the Gods. But this is scary. At first they were saying it might be some sort of power surge, but there is now some evidence of explosives

What sort of shocks me is that I thought the UK was light-years ahead of the US in anti-terrorism, thanks to years of having to deal with the IRA and Sinn Fein.

In order to be ready for this sort of thing, you have to know that it's happening. :-/

Thankfully, my friends and family over there weren't on the tube system this morning.
