For those who are interested, there is a ceili this Saturday at SeanKelly's Pub in the French Quarter at 8 pm. I would highly recommend getting there early for parking purposes. My first semester at LSU was not quite what I expected. My gpa is a bit lower than I want, but that's only because there is a scholarship that I'm hoping to get for grad school. Still, I'm content with a 3.35 for my first semester in college.

As if exams aren't enough, Christmas time brings stress. Why you ask? Well, I'm freaking poor so I can't buy my most awesome friends spiffy stuff. Say that I buy each awesome friend a $10 gift. I had a stupid exam at 7:30 this morning. I wanted to sleep more. I didn't feel like thinking about Japanese. I think I did better on the listening section. Writing was not much of a problem. I feel dead now and I have another exam at 12:30!

Ok, so I've had this account for over a year. This is my first journal entry. Whoo-hoo. I cannot wait for tomorrow. I'm going home for Thanksgiving!! Also the Freudenbergers are coming in this week from Austin, TX. I have not seen them since before Katrina and am very much looking forward to their visit. Joy, a break from school I will have.
