What I heard on WGN News here in Chicago just a little while ago seriously worries me...

Ambulances or other emergency vehicles
being used as/filled with bombs/explosivesHas anyone else heard anything about it?? What I heard on WGN (and aggrivatingly enough cannot find anything about it yet on-line) is that two men of Arabian nationality went to ( Read more... )

The whole thing is getting out of hand. First it was airplanes, then they were focusing on trucks. Now emergency vehicles. I drive a tractor trailer, delivering to fast food restaurants. I've always had a haz-mat endorsement, mainly because when I'm able to do something, I don't like to have restrictions on it. Now, I don't know if I'll be able to, or want to keep it. I'll have to start to renew my license months ahead of it's expiration, so background checks can be done. Good thing it don't expire right away. What I don't understand is just like criminals don't register their guns, why do they expect that the person that hijacks a tanker truck is going to go through the trouble of having a license with the proper endorsements.

I wish I could say something more reassuring however, yes I did hear that on the news Wednesday or Thursday. What's even worse is that after I got home yesterday my dad was telling us about the new tape that the terrorists put out, saying that the American people will definitely be hit again and that the Al-Queda was as strong as ever and even more encouraged. Part of the tape talking about future hits said that we wouldn't know where or when but the American Public should fasten their seatbelts. My dad says that the narrator on tv said that they think they will target our highway system and transits.

Let me know if you hear anything more...
