As if I don't have enough on my mind...

What I heard on WGN News here in Chicago just a little while ago seriously worries me...

Ambulances or other emergency vehicles
being used as/filled with bombs/explosives

Has anyone else heard anything about it?? What I heard on WGN (and aggrivatingly enough cannot find anything about it yet on-line) is that two men of Arabian nationality went to this place (I think in either NY or CA) that rents out emergency vehicles for TV shows and such and asked if they could buy one or two of the ambulances. They had plenty of cash on them to do the purchase, but the people at the business refused to sell...

Evidently one of the two guys has been picked up and questioned and he claims he just wanted something to store tools in. My first thought was, Buy a van?????

Seriously... this worries me... now I'm definately going to be locking my rig any time I get out of it... I don't care how much of a pain in the ass it might be...

It was also said that the private ambulance companies were easier to target than "real" departments due to the number of ambulances that private companies own. It just makes me think of how many Trace cars are out there...

This is just unbelieveable... what do you all think??? What has anyone else heard???
