I got the CD Wednesday! Yay! Thank you! Due to the holiday (Thanksgiving...means lots of family stuff) and being away from home, I haven't listened to it much yet. I'm looking forward to investigating it more thoroughly tomorrow and Sunday...it sounds quite lush and eerie so far.

I hope you had a good weekend, got some relaxing and some eating done. :) And that you will be rid of your recent cold very soon. Stay warm! :)

I hope you will like it as you listen to the rest of the tracks.

DCD did draw a lot of their inspiration both from celtic and other kinds of folk music, but also from Greek mythology, classical Greek theater and folklore of verious kinds.

The music is very somber, but the last two tracks, Persephone and Summoning Of The Muse have always been my favorites. I played them a lot in my teenage years, and I still listen to them from time to time.
