Note: I refer to "Ivan" instead of "Russia" just because he's so young in this story that he's not even the Soviet Union yet or anything similar.

No, but seriously, I'm using loli54's young!Ivan and Yao wallpaper right now. Honestly one of my favorite Rochu fanarts out there.

It's not so much a kink but really something I love seeing and reading about. ^^ After seeing wonderful art out there of tiny!Ivan meeting the Asians, I've wanted to read a fic like this for a while. So thank you for delivering!

I love your attention to detail. The opening scene put me in mind of this scene from the EAST ASIA amv, you described it so well. The young nations pretending to be animals had a really magical feel to it. ♥

I LOVE baby!Ivan stories/pics too and it's a strangely obsession that I never seem to get enough of, haha. I geek out every time I find a new pic or something referring to him as a child. xD

Thank you~ I'm really rusty but I like writing with imagery than with really complicated plots. (Ooooh I've never seen that pic before, but that's really nice too! I actually based the beginning off a totally different fanart which I've already lost track of. *SIGH*)

Haha you can understand Hetalia if you personify every major country as a person and imagines them walking around and interacting with each other. xD This story is roughly placed in 1000 B.C., when Russia (his human name is Ivan) is very young. Russia, in the anime, is shown to be a bit insane because he's been so traumatized by his violent history. I really love the character.

And China has a big 'family' 'cause he basically raised all the other Asian countries, lol.

Yep! Axis Powers Hetalia is the name of the anime (and the webcomic its based off of). They basically take major countries and personify them as a stereotyped character, then toss them together to "retell" history. xD It's really funny if you don't take it seriously. WWII is basically reduced to China beating people with a frying pan.

That's what I've been cosplaying lately. ^^ It always confuses people when they ask us who we are because our answer is a country, haha. I always do China though. :3
