Am I the only one in the US who doesn't feel the need to "celebrate" today? I mean, the currently politics are nothing to celebrate about... well.. some of it, but I don't wanna get into that shit.

i'm not a fan of random patriotic holidays, or any holidays for that matter but yeah i know what you mean about the state of things. my mom was putting out a flag today, i said that patriotism is too republicn right now and i'd rather she didn't. she looked at me as if i'd sprouted horns.

Professional musicians typically don't celebrate many holidays due to always having to work. Holidays are just another day for me... all of em...

heh, my dad works in a hotel and he had to work as well.

And I... work in IT, so no work for me :P

Other than that, I'm staring at my computer at home rather than at work... big deal :S

I was at a friends, playing with Photoshop in my laptop...he was showing me how to render a few things...and the fireworks were just getting on my nerves...I have never held up well around loud noises.
