Am I the only one in the US who doesn't feel the need to "celebrate" today? I mean, the currently politics are nothing to celebrate about... well.. some of it, but I don't wanna get into that shit.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I was just telling Kris yesterday how the fireworks annoy me. They're loud and most of the people who are lighting them don't even know the meaning of the word patriotism. I agree with notwithoutrage... I'm glad I got the day off... besides for that, the "holiday" is stupid.

I had none of those with me at the time, except my dad 'cause I live with him... and Fireworks, didn't really care since they were really loud right out my windows :P
