Just a quick comment. I could never understand why random people who can only see snapshots of our relationships with family and friends make free with their comments about said relationships. If I witness a not-so-perfect encounter between a mother and a daughter, or a husband and wife, as long as no laws are broken, I withhold the judgement. ( Read more... ) -

OK, so very are different kinds of people living in the world. I am more on the "let's pack a week before our vacation" side. I loved the book, and now I am in love with the HBO miniseries. It is very understated and wonderfully acted. Its pathos is more pronounced by a complete lack of posturing that one would expect from a piece chronicling such momentous events. Battlestar Galactica is starting its new and final season on April 4. I finally got to see August Rush on DVD yesterday. What a disappointment! I was hoping that the critics had been too harsh on this urban fairy tale giving it only about 35% on Rotten Tomatoes (at least it was about 35% the last time I checked a few months ago), but they were ( Read more... ) -
Harry Potter
The last Harry Potter movie will be split into two parts to filmed simultaneously. The first part will come out in November 2010, and the second part will be released in May 2011. The reason sited - the creators' inability to drop out some of the material out of the final book, unlike the prevous ones.
