I wasn't expecting a lot of attention to be paid to my Not exactly back - but nearly there post. Given my long absence, I was a trifle concerned that my journal would resound with the wind-blown eerieness of rolling tumble weed.

Happily, folk popped by - even some I didn't know. Which was nice.

But then I was informed that lj_top15_noncyr had reposted my entry

That happens to my posts on comms sometimes. It used to happen to my journal posts, but I turned it off (in some way I’ve now forgotten), because I didn’t like getting notifications that weren’t about real interactions. Yay for finding the Yuletide comm and collection, though.

And now I've apparently made the top-25 of the most popular entries in LiveJournal.

Personally, the Yuletide thing felt more exciting...
