Yesterday I had a really busy day, it was nervous and I had alot of important things to do. But at the same time I felt really creative. For one day I made two designs. Before Adam's design I finished an order for a photogallery. It's the same girl which were in the site's layout I made two weeks ago. It was the fastest design I've ever made.

It took me alot of time to finish this order. Usually I don't take it that long, but this time it happened, in the beginning I couldn't start for a long time, then I could continue and then there were things which didn't depend on me. Even when I'm asked to make a dark layout I try to use dark shades of bright colors. But here I was given a strict color palette, that's why I had to deal with black background for the first time. Actually no one described a desired layout so detailed before. I only had to make it, since the girl wrote me in the order HOW it should look like ( Read more... )

I can say it's my first dark order. Although I'm not sure these are really ordered dark colors (I'm just a lover of bright colors). But I like how it turned out. Maybe it's because of colors, but at least this layout doesn't really look like previous ones.

I finished this order last week. As I already wrote, I can't copy myself too much, that's why I satisfied how header of this layout turned out. It turned to be pretty unusual out of standard orders. And of course there is an animation. Also I finally managed Gradual Element Fader script which I used for hover effect in the navigation bar.

I seriously think about learning 3D graphics production. Usually I use free stock images for my designs. But now I want to create my own unique room with right proportions and lightening. Right when I get some free time I'll start leaning applications like 3D-Max and some other I've found.
