“Did I leave her that list of allergies?”
“Yeah.”
“Favourite foods?”
“Yeah.”
“Naptimes?”
“Yeah.”
“Bedtimes?”
“Yeah.”
“Woobie?”
“Yeah.”
“Teething chart?”
“Yeah.”
“Growth chart?”
“Yeah.”
“Feeding diary?”
“Yeah, but wait sec before you move on to the next question.” Eric pulled a small pill bottle from his bag and handed it over to Ryan. “Take two of those.”
“What are they?”
“Tranquilisers.”
“Where the hell did you get these?”
“From Alexx. I knew you would start panicking before we be even board the plane.”
“I wanna be sure I remembered everything!”
“You remembered everything and then some! Ally’s staying at my mom’s for one week, she’s not moving there permanently.”

--------------------------------------------

Four hours later.

“Give me more of those pills.”
“You already had two.”
“Then get me really drunk, because otherwise I may have to strangle that steward.”
“Just pretend you’re asleep when he comes here again.”
“I did that last time and it just encouraged him. And I’m right here, he had to lean over me to get to you! How can you not notice I’m right here?”
“Ignore him, we’re landing in thirty minutes.”

“How are we doing here?” Syrupy voice with a slight Texas accent warbled from the aisle. The steward wiggled his way to their seats and flashed a wide line of large, white teeth. “Can I get you something, cutie?”

Ryan gave him a hostile glance and put on his frostiest smile.
“No, thank you.”
The steward looked at him like he hadn’t even noticed the man between him and Eric. He shrugged and fixed his eyes on Eric. “Let me know if you change your mind, honey. I can show you some really friendly skies.” The statement was followed by a wink.

“On second thought, get me a large brandy.” Ryan instructed and shooed the man away.

“I thought you said you said you’d drive when we get the rental car.” Eric chuckled.
“You’ll have to drive. One more cutie or sweetie and I’ll kick that himbo out of the plane.”

The steward returned few minutes later and placed a glass and a tiny bottle on the tray in front of Ryan. Then he leaned over him to stuff a wad of paper napkins into Eric’s brest pocket. Ryan grabbed his wrist and squeezed it a little bit harder than necessary.

“Take a hike, bookmark.”

Ryan let go and the guy escaped as quickly as he could. Eric had hard time controlling his giggles.

“Am I a total pervert if I admit that the whole my-man-stay-way act is seriously hot?”
“Yeah.” Ryan grabbed the wad of napkins from Eric’s pocket and unfolded them. The stewards name and number were written on them. “That was the last straw.”
“Don’t do anything stupid.”
“Too late.”
“As sexy as you are when you go all caveman on me, please don’t make a scene.”
“Don’t try to stop me.” Ryan opened the bottle and emptied it with one gulp. “Get up.”

“What?”
“Up. Now.” Ryan stood up on the aisle.
“You don’t need me to kick his ass.”
“Keep arguing with me and I’ll kick your ass.”
“Tone it down, I’m already half hard!”
“Get up.”

Eric gave up and snaked himself up from his seat. Ryan grabbed his collar, practically dragged him to the other end of the aisle, and shoved him into the tiny bathroom.
“Babe, why didn’t you just say you want to-”
“Shut up, I need to unleash some aggressions.” Ryan pressed his lips on Eric’s to silence him, and tore his shirt open.

--------------------------------------------

When Eric appeared from the bathroom ten minutes later he looked like he had been run over by a bulldozer. Ryan guided him back to his seat with a crooked grin. Eric’s strong vocal cords had ensured that everyone on the plane was well aware of their activities.

Eric leaned back in his seat and took a deep breath.
“If you’re doing that on the way to California, I’ll be in a hospital recovering from exhaustion by the end of the week.”
“Quit whining, you enjoyed it.”
“Well….” Eric smirked. “If that’s how you make a point when somebody tries to hit on me, I hope we’ll have the same steward on the flight back.”
